Duikers are small antelope that dive into cover when disturbed. Several Lango clans have rules about the duiker, called amor: in many clans women do not eat its flesh and no one keeps its hide, and the Jo Akarawok me Jo Amor may not hunt it at all, and bury one that is killed by accident under leaves. Driberg listed the duiker among the animals found everywhere in Lango.
