Shea tree

The shea tree gives the nuts from which shea butter is made. Driberg found shea trees only in part of Lango: north and east of Ngetta Hill, more and more numerous towards the River Moroto, abundant on the watershed of the Moroto and the rivers feeding Lake Kwania, and not at all elsewhere.

Habitat

Savanna north and east of Lango, around the River Moroto and the rivers that feed Lake Kwania.
